10/4 - Barktoberfest - 11am-4pm - This fun filled family event is held each year to encourage residents to "Think Adoption first". 10/26 - Special Day for Special Kids presents a Fall Festival like no other - 11am - 4pm - A day dedicated entirely to children of all ages, with autism spectrum disorder, Asperger syndrome, Tourette's syndrome, ADHD, OCD and other related neurobiological disorders. Children affected with these disabilities will be able to enjoy a variety of activities including hayrides, pumpkin picking, a haunted house, inflatable rides, food and much more in a safe environment. In addition, resources will be available for parents/guardians through special education vendors and expert speakers. This event is hosted by and will benefit Custom Education Foundation, a non-profit organization that directly benefits individuals with special needs.
